"Water"

Wally was the person who started me running, when we were roommates in Revere, Massachusetts. I’ve never been a fast runner, but I’ve been at it ever since, in my slow sporadic fashion. Somehow in that time I’ve managed to finish several marathons in Chicago; Des Moines; Burlington, VT; Hartford, CT; and Lake County, IL.

Looking good

I see the water

Closing in

Splashing water

On my throat, my face,  my hair

I run on

Refreshed

Someone whistles

“Oh yeah!”

Feeling hot
