Celebrities can
get away with things. Like releasing crap and still making a fortune from it.
The big thing for the past few years has been celebrities writing children’s books.
Not just any children’s books though – really
bad children’s books. And they sell like hotcakes. A celebrity can fill an
art gallery with terrible art and sell every last piece. A celebrity can have a
ghost writer write an “autobiography,” then reap huge royalty checks. A
celebrity can put his or her name on any cheap merchandise and call it a “signature
line.” This song is about all of that.
I’ve been feeling
a bit bitter lately because everywhere I turn I see stories about rich people
who are making more money simply because they are rich people, and poor people
love to give rich people their money. Meanwhile, I can’t earn two nickels, no
matter how hard I work. So this song perfectly fits my bitching and moaning
mood today.
No Matter What I Say

Ho ho he he
Wonderful me
I live my life in
ecstasy
If you decide to
run and hide
I'll find other
company
It's easy to be
free
And to write
whatever I like
And they'll buy
it anyway
No matter what I
say
Ho ho he he
Fabulous me
I live my life
victoriously
If you decide to
stay by my side
I’ll enjoy your
company
It's easy, can't
you see
That it's nice in
paradise
And I love it
anyway
No matter what
they say
It's easy to be
free
And to write
whatever I like
And they'll buy
it anyway
No matter what I
say
And I love you
anyway
No matter what
you say
And you like me
anyway
No matter what I
say
And they do it
anyway
No matter what we
say
