Lady Messiah

I’d been lonely
and depressed for some time
And I thought a
walk late at night would ease my mind
So I set out, not
expecting any happenings
When I chanced to
meet a lovely girl dressed in white
She was peculiar,
that's the most I can say for her
But a friendly
hand was more than I had planned
So I took up on
her offer of companionship and off we went
Thus my adventure
began
Lady Messiah,
Lady Messiah
Lady Messiah,
Lead me on
Lady Messiah,
Lady Messiah
Lady Messiah,
Lead me on
We arrived at her
house and slipped inside
Without a word,
she gave me all that I desired
And as she
touched me, I remembered everything
And every feeling
of a love I thought had retired
Something about
her made me think about my past
When I tried to question
her, she said I shouldn’t ask
About what I was
seeing, but to believe
What seemed to me
to be a dream was more than that
Lady Messiah,
Lady Messiah
Lady Messiah,
Lead me on
Lady Messiah,
Lady Messiah
Lady Messiah,
Lead me on
The next place
she took me was to an old school building
Looking inside, I
could see there was a party
Every face looked
familiar, but none of them could see me
I turned to the
girl
To my alarm, she
was gone
I found a note
addressed to me where she'd stood
In it, she said
we'd meet again and that I could
Take part in the
happiness I’d seen that night
And that she
might decide to stay with me for good
Lady Messiah,
Lady Messiah
Lady Messiah,
Lead me on
Lady Messiah,
Lady Messiah
Lady Messiah,
Lead me on
